Before joining NASTT as its Assistant Executive Director in 2005, Angela Ghosh was conferences manager, and worked previously as the event planner, for Benjamin Media, Inc., publishers of Trenchless Technology magazine. In her five-year tenure, Angela planned/managed over 40 educational seminars and trade shows, with the largest one being the annual NASTT No-Dig Show, where attendees exceed 1,500 and over 100 exhibiting companies participate.
Since working with NASTT, her relevant achievements include: managing the Society's training activities to include planning, budgeting and marketing and effectuating the successful delivery of 20+ training course per year, which have resulted in a substantial increase of training revenues, the number of courses offered and an increase in overall membership. She is also responsible for the development and execution of the Society's marketing plan to include a complete re-design of the web site making many major improvements in content, design and navigation.
Many know Angela as an active champion of the trenchless technology industry for 7+ years through her work at Trenchless Technology magazine, and the seminars sponsored by Benjamin Media, Inc., and her organization and management of the annual No-Dig Show. Angela's professional experiences are rooted in education. She began her career teaching English and communication, after having earned her bachelor's degree at Malone College in Canton, Ohio.
Angela is an active member of the North American Society for Trenchless Technology (NASTT) and the American Society for Association Executives (ASAE). Currently, she is participating in programs to earn the designation of Certified Association Executive (CAE), the association credential most highly regarded among association professionals and boards.
